Cemetery Junction by Gervais & Merchant Page 3

Watched this the other day, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.

Mainly it wasn't funny enough for a comedy film and not gritty enough for a drama, also, and I realize this may make me sound like a prude, the swearing seemed out of place in what was essentially a fairly sweet film and seemed to have been included purely to get a cheap laugh from a very old joke.

Personally, I preferred "Ghost Town" and "The Invention of Lying".

Ghost Town I liked. I thought The Invention Of Lying stunk though.

I haven't seen either of these yet. Will get them on DVD in anticipation of a Gervais contagious corpsing outtakes feature on each.

poor conception, lame delivery. The only point of interest was the appearence of the Atakk twins as old-age musician duffers, 30 years on from their teen pin-up days.

Gervais' work is slipshod, exploitative, and opportunitist. I rest my case.
