So in less than 3 weeks I'll be walking the red carpet at the Leicester Square Otway - sorry Odeon as a bone fide Film Producer. There's still time for you to do likewise!

In case you're interested Otway the Movie was recently taken to the Cannes Film Festival.

And the Grauniad* gave it this glowing review!

* I refuse to read it usually.

At the Otway convention in Southend. You really don't know what you're missing!!????!!

Do you know him personally now that you're one of the producers of his film?

Just one of hundreds - but just spoken to him as he was driving his Sinclair C5 around Southend.

I hope you had a smashing weekend in Southend!

It was great.

Otway is planning to record a new album and it depends how much he raise where that will be.

Montserrat - the famous studio where many bands including the Stones recorded in the 1970s - or Harlow.

Nice. :)

"I have not written all the songs yet - However, I think I'm going to rise to the challenge I've started filling up note books with very promising exciting ideas.

If we reach our stretch goal and raise enough money to record in Montserrat, we shall be recording next to an active volcano at the height of the hurricane season. To combat this, we'll take some hard hats and some waterproof and fireproof clothing and maybe some sort of windbreak".

Laughing out loud

So he's just coming back from Montserrat where he is the first international rock star to record there since the Rolling Stones.

Now looking forward to his Southend Convention and support includes the Members and Jilted John AKA Graham Fellowes AKA John Shuttleworth.
