The first thing I saw him in was Do Not Adjust Your Set with Denise Coffey and some Pythons. Most things I've seen him in I've enjoyed. Happy birthday David - but please no more OFAHs.

I queued up to have some books signed by him in a WH Smith's on Oxofrd St circa 1993 ... I remember that there was a gorgeous looking woman in front of me in a fur coat and a fussy man whispering stuff in her ear. When they got to the front of the queue the woman tried to throw off her fur coat (she was naked beneath it) and the guy pulled out a camera. The security grabbed them both and threw them out - as I was next in the queue I just stood looking at DJ and he was white as a ghost and mumbling and muttering something ...
