Big 5 Comedy Award Page 7

Just made the last post and sent it off guaranteed next day delivery (Monday by 1pm). I really shouldn't take the advice of so many writers and leave it till the last minute, stresses the hell out of me! It's an area where my Asperger's gets the better of me.

I sent my script off with:

1 script stapled with application form stapled to the front, 2 loose copies with a loose copy of the application form at the front, 1 supporting detail sheet, 1 CV, 1 treatment. Now, please tell me that was everything...

From what I've read it seems everyone has done something slightly different, perhaps they will throw everyones in the bin for not following the requirements closely enough

I'm not sure, sorry. :(
But good luck anyhow.

To you too and everyone else.

Oh crap, I just remembered that the "Additional Information" sheet needed to be on a separate detachable sheet and I stapled it along with the bound copy. Would they disqualify you based on that?

Not if your disability is an inability to read instructions correctly. ;)

Teary I've been battling with it for so long!

I'm really worried that they'll disqualify me. :(

I honestly don't think they will on those grounds. The instructions are pretty cryptic and I imagine all sorts of applications are going to be submitted. :)

Everything else is correct and present.

Was anyone else thinking of "The Crystal Maze" while reading the instructions and stuffing the envelope?

Hey, I haven't even submitted mine yet!

Are you still working on the script?

PS - The print-out refused to include a title page but I wrote the title at the top of every page and it's also all there in the treatment; will this cause any problems?

No, just all the stuff that comes with being a mother and daughter means I haven't had the chance to fill the other bits out yet. I can drop it off in person if needs be though.

Sorry, didn't mean it to seem like a criticism. :)

Good luck with your entry.

I've just had a message from CTBF saying that I won't be disqualified for my mistake, according to them there have been all kinds of "rubric misdemeanours"! :S

Actually I was referring to 'women as disadvanted in film and TV' entrance criteria - so no offence taken! :)
