Things that piss you off Page 779

I think people just get over excited.

Dear God; Geordie Shore, The Only Way Is Essex, Made In Chelsea and now I've just seen an ad for a show called Desperate Scousewives. One of these shows is surely too many, but four?! A pox on each person involved in the production of these 'shows'!

I've already Sky plussed the new one
Mankety Mancs

Kunts In Keswick.

Thankfuly we haven't tried to do an Aussie version of this yet, although I think The Only Way Is Essex might have aired on pay TV. We do have other reality programs though, such as Random Breath Test (RBT) which basically features the Police catching drink drivers and other similar stuff. They're bringing back Big Brother next year.....wish they'd use the money to put something on by people with ACTUAL talent. And not "X factor famous dancing stars have talent".
I must be in the minority though as aparently the stations only put things on that people watch. Maybe it's time to change the people who have ratings boxes.

Bradford Bastards

Leeds Weeds

ScuMthorpe

Brummie Bummers
Cockney Cock Cheese
Countryside C**ty Snides

The solution is to use the commercial networks only to view sport (SBS being the exception) otherwise you're just watching crap and ads. The only thing I am gutted to have missed since leaving Australia is the second series of Swift & Shift Couriers, which is one of those rare shows that is crass enough to appeal to everyone.

I really dislike sport and I've never got into any local comedy made by SBS. The new one they have Housos makes Kath and Kim look like classy people. Try YouTube-swift and shift might be floating around there somewhere.

Not even the John Safran shows? He and Pizza and then Swift & Shift were the best local comedies I saw during my last four-year stint in Oz. The latter were definitely lowbrow vulgar smut, but good.

Didn't see John Safrans SBS stuff but didn't like the program he did for ABC. I wasn't offended, just found it neither funny or amusing. Aussie comedy I've like over the last few years include Chris Lilley and The Chaser stuff.

Today I am annoyed by late buses and bad bus drivers. I'm putting my life in your hands- I expect you to obey the road rules.

Also people in supermarket who were blocking up the asile and got cranky when said politely "excuse me please". Next time I think I will just push my way past instead of using manners.

That Disney ad on the TV. The sheer manipulation/pester power contained in it! You know the one: the kids go sugar-rush, apeshit crazy when the mum rips off the wrapping paper from the wall to reveal...'We're going to Disneyland'

I'd love it if she then ripped off a second sheet of wrapping paper beneath it that read: 'with Gary Glitter'.

The new BBC homepage.

Glad it's not just me.

Glad it's not just me.

I have filled in every comment form and survey that pops up telling them I don't want it. It's too fluid and undefined. Too much white background. I can't find things. I'd be happy if there was an option to stay with the previous version.
