Things that piss you off Page 633

I've always hated that sort of sly discrimination you get in some very female working environments, especially caring ones.
You know female managers letting women have a day off because they're boyfriend ditched them. And moaning about "bloody men" when there's only 2 men in a team of 12. Can be very issolating.

Recently I got into the lift at work with 3 of the guys from the post room. One of them pretended that I'd pinched his bum as I reached for the floor buttons. It was funny at the time, but now it's turned into a big in-joke that I'm a bit uncomfortable with.

Apart from bum pinching being passé, I don't want to be part of any kind of role-reversal irony, or court-case.

I think you have to speak to them face to face and tell them it isn't funny. Jokes get out of hand very quickly. And "it's all a joke etc" is the cover of a bully.

It certainly shouldn't be. I feel very strongly that if women want equal rights, it should be the same for the bad stuff too.

Yeah, but no matter what laws and policies we adopt as a society, biological differences mean women will never, ever have to go through the stress of thinking they might have accidentally knocked up an ugly bird.

You don't know how lucky you are.

Take a man.
Take out the reasonable chip
Add the love of shoes + overactive tearducts
Result, woman.

What about being knocked up by an ugly bloke and having to decide whether to raise an ugly baby or kill it? I imagine that is pretty stressful.

I was going to tell you off, but then I realised I do love shoes and cry a lot :(

Men, avoid the stress of thinking you might have accidentally knocked up an ugly bird.

That may be incompatible with my other contraception strategy.

Women, like comedy, shouldn't be over-analysed.
