Things that piss you off Page 522

Idiots on Twitter who appear to have forgotten that I can see their posts and read ever single nasty thing they've said about some good friends of mine. :(

People who don't watch telly for three years. Then brag about it.

I've seem programmes on tele where it has.

I would seriously research the subject if I were you.

You only get one chance with eyes and if it should go wrong . .

Thanks. :) I know a few people who've had successful treatment.

And I'm just not a glasses person.

My former mother in-law is preparing for her second cornea transplant after years of pain and poor eyesight due to a vision-correcting procedure gone wrong. I'd rather wear glasses.

You'd likely still require reading glasses at some stage in your life. My co-worker is 43 and raves about how great his procedure was, but he's started wearing reading glasses during the last few months. Our eyes wear out as we age and there's no getting around it.

Bear in mind that there may be a difference between short term gain and long term improvement.

Maybe it's me. I've worn glasses 50+ years (thanks measles!) and have always been sensitive about eyes.

But I just don't think it's been around long enough for a full evaluation to have taken place.

Me? I'd err on the safe side !

;)

Just remember that as you age you naturally become more long-sighted (due to change in the shape of the eyeball). So if you're short-sighted it should actually improve with age anyway. :)

Mine's getting worse (and I feel like I'm getting long sighted too) :(

I think the last paragraph of the second link says it all . .

I know too many people that have had problems with the surgery.

My TTPYO is my indecisiveness. Can't decide where to go out to eat with the kids. Do I go for food I like at a restaurant where the look down on kids, or do I go to the place the kids like, where they get pirate flags in the mashed potatoes?
