Yeah, great, because young people are never arrogant or behave like annoying c**ts, do they?

I made no comment as to age, John. (So yes, they are. Unimpressed)

I give old people a lot respect but I won't tolerate rudeness from ANYONE. End of.

I accept the fact some people cannot control it for whatever reason but the sad truth is some people, and not just old people, this applies to everyone, are just selfish and rude.

Yeah, but the problem with older people is that you don't know whether they have a form of dementia making them behave like that or not.

Well if they are demented, they'll have forgotten you being rude back to them within five minutes.
Everyone wins!

Well, what a nasty little, generalising, post that was.

That one. And some.

Minus a couple of commas.

:)
Maybe he was a bit out of breath?

Aw! Just ran up three flights of stairs.

I remember when I could do that and survive :(

Heh.
Don't you smoke?

...and exercise very little, and eat junk! I don't feel I'm entitled to feel hard done by really. Oh, and there's also the getting-old-and-past-it bit. *sobs*

I just helped a partially-sighted lady with only one leg who fell over in the supermarket. She was pretty rude to me, partly because she thought I worked there, partly because she was a bit pissed off at the indignity of falling over on a some slimey runner beans and partly because she seemed to be of that personality type. I cheerfully helped her with her groceries and find the onions and didn;t take her rudeness personally. :)

Good for you.
