Between "tea" and "panic".

Right above the little triangle formed by 'ä', 'ö' and 'ü'. Well, on my keyboard it is.

Apparently you have to find something called the 'character pallete'.

Sounds about as long-winded and un-user-friendly as it could be.

Or I could just copy n paste Ruby's post
Yes, yes you could.
TTPYO: My ISP, Time Warner Cable, has just announced that they're going to begin metering Internet usage this summer. The top tier (to which I subscribe) will only allowed 40GB per month for the $55 fee. Additional gigs will be $1.
I currently average between 150GB and 250GB of activity per month. Looks like I'll be looking for a new ISP.
*snigger* And just after you dropped your TV subscription too!
TTPYO: Credit card companies calling my mum and drawing her into pointless telephone arguments.
I bet they're very point...ful.
My mum just says 'no thank you' and puts the phone straight down.
She's missed a couple of genuine phone calls from her bank because of that though. Hee.

Yeah, the dawn of streaming video sites like Hulu, Neflix, iTunes and Amazon are having an impact on cable companies. They want you to watch the shows and rent the movies from them and not someone else. I'll just cancel my account completely and go with another provider.
There's talk of organizing massive download-a-thons by irate customers during the 3-month grace period. It'd be funny if several thousand customers saturated the network with 24/7 downloads for 3 months.

They're really not. This argument was about my mum having made a call or not having made a call. She clearly did make a call and send two letters, but this had not been recorded properly at their end. That strikes me as an incredibly pointless argument. The underlying factor is that these companies engage in petty tactics in order to drive you into accepting terms you do not want. They're trying desperately to move my mum onto an active credit card despite her repeated demands that her payment plan be kept as it is.
My parents realise they have financially mismanaged, but now they're just trying to pay it all off. It's not fun, I've been raised in an environment where I'm acutely aware of all the financial goings on and the depressing reality of getting into debt.
Also I hate hearing my mum get angry.
Accctually can't imagine your mum getting angry.
It's all blown over now. She came in to apologise to me for "having to hear that."
