I'd at least like to know mine.
Things that piss you off Page 355
Drama schools are the worse. Some make you PAY to audition for THEM!

What about your vast, vast, VAST collection of hats?

I would sacrifice them! They knew the deal all along.

That sounds like something else Rubes. Just because he has a business card and a flashy website, it doesn't mean he's legit.
I actually applied for 3, got 1 unconditional offer and 1 conditional, sadly circumstances overtook me and I didn't end up going.
Now look at me though eh? eh?
I think I'll go for a little cry.
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ December 10 2008, 5:57 PM GMTWe got 5 choices, and it's just so silly! Okay, arrogance mode for a sentence now, beware! Nine A*s and an A at GCSE, and three predicted As at A2; so I should not have been rejected, unless it was on my B at AS in Spanish.
See this is the problem now with the grading system. No offence to you Floozy - I don't know how you would have done under the old system - but too many people are getting the highest grades now and it seems it's almost impossible to differentiate between the really academically gifted and those not so.
That's completely true too, but short of a whole new decision system, it's what unis say they judge by - and so what they should.

Not honestly, they do. I'm not talking the dodgy ones, I am talking the real deal (remember, I was in the business, darling ). Can be anything between £20 and £50 but may be more it's been a while.

Real Drama schools are acredited by the CDS anyway, it's hard to end up in a dodgy one unless you are very stupid!
I avoided them though apart from the Welsh college of music and Drama who have a great rep. You apply for Drama school through UCAS like university
My friend auditioned at E15 (I think it's where Graham Norton trained). She coughed up the £15 fee and they didn't even see her. They picked who they wanted quickly and sent the rest home.
Awww, I'm sorry to hear that Miss Scats, that's bad news
Ruby is right though, I bet you you'll be happy wherever you end up, because no matter where you go uni is uni and you're absolutely bound to make a number of good friends and settle into the whole experience.
I know that won't help you or cheer you up right now cos any rejection is depressing. But really, you'll be ok. <3
Thank you everyone, really. I'm just possible (or definitely) going to be a mess for a while.
*hug* Scats!!!! You'll be fine. xxxx

Some friends of mine 'back in the day' were pretty clever but couldn't see the woods for the trees when it came to university choices. They just waited for the clearing!
