Things that piss you off Page 198

It probably was jokey, but I'd seen one of them a week ago at a friend's house, and he completely ignored me, and I just feel like I've done something wrong. Though I can't think that I have, I keep thinking I must've. My hair's a mess today !

You worry too much. Messy hair is better. And you worry way too much.

I know I doooooo, but it's impossible for me not to! If I try to just stop, then I always end up thinking of something else to worry about. English is also annoying me a bit. I'm so tempted to just sit and say nothing from now on, because I always give away my ideas which noone listens to until the teacher says they should be.

I stopped answering questions in English a long time ago. I get better grades that way. They're my ideas, not the class's

I always say to myself that that's how I'm going to be, but I just get enthusiastic and want to talk about it-even though usually it just ends up with me trying to explain myself, and everyone else just looking at me. My teacher came up to me and said "Robynnnnn! I think you're enjoying this!" about the coursework, and I resisted the urge to just say "Duh..."

I'm not that bad, I'd never let on to any of my teachers that I'm even interested. Otherwise they might talk to me.

I'm quite proud to be a neek. I made the best poster for debating! My teachers are okay, actually, though I don't let them know that I think that.

No, the actign President was "supervising" me, and just looked disapproving when I laughed to myself about it.

Is your first debate still about knife crime?

Yep! It's "This house believes that increased Police powers would reduce knife crime." I have to research that, yet, as well as my Individual Assignment for history. This will be a long weekend! Everyone else at school gets an inset Monday, but I have to go to Spanish.

Can you not just ask your Dad?

You guys sound like you're being overworked, I haven't even had any homework yet.

He'll go off on a big rant, and be unreliable! Plus, with my history assignment, he's not the best authority on the Spanish Civil War!

I've had so much homework! I've got heaps of biology, too.
