Christmas Crackers. We had some at work. What a colossal waste of money, and then after pulling them you feel pressured into wearing the stupid hat inside.

All the schools closing because some snow and ice came.
Around here, they all have a notice outside saying 'closed due to bad weather.
(I'm driving past to read these notices??) and meanwhile, every grassy hill has children sledging down them.

I know - isn't it effin' ridiculous. God knows how they would react if we had another winter like 1963 that ran from about Boxing Day thru' to February, when we all carried on going to work, going to school etc.
All rather pathetic really
On the other side. Our bins were due to be emptied on Monday but the council put a notice on social media saying the trucks were struggling to get out of the depot and would be delayed.
Hundreds of complaints later with the general consensus of 'lazy sods, they put a video of the depot up. The bin lorries were skidding and running into each other and bashing the walls and damaging everything.
Bit late yesterday, but all emptied - we're made of sterner stuff in EA - it's the farming stock, you know, out in all weathers on our trac'ors
That bloody Booking.com advert with that Northerner (Paddy McGuinness?)making Booking sound like something else. Oh how adult and funny!

They are literally driving me crazy
It's gotten so I don't want to listen to any of my favourite music anymore- because if I do a certain song will be stuck in by brain for hours , even days
Why do they do it?
About a month ago some knob tried to sell on eBay a "very rare" Brexit 50p piece, worth about a £1 at most for £25,000
And now another twat is trying to sell a Victoria Cross celebration 50p piece for £18,000, which is also worth no more than a £1
Apart from the insult to winners of the VC, WHY do these twats think someone will be so gullible to buy them when the exact same coins are or have been available from other people for a sensible £1 to £2, and a spin off from that is there are now loads of other twats trying to sell their 50p pieces they found in their small change for a "more reasonable" price of £5000 to £8000

There's a news story on the BBC Culture web site about a girl of 27 who's never watched a Soap but is watching them all now. What's pissing me off is her books behind her arranged in colour order like a rainbow.
Then there's another story headlined Sam Fender's new album drops. WTF? Lucky they're not shellac any more or it would shatter.
