Same with second hand cigarette smoke causing cancer. There were lots of conflicting studies with no overall proof - the government still brought in the smoking ban.

The problem is the same with cannabis, the supporters say it's fine, the detractors say it's harmful, both come up with studies and research to prove their points.

There is a link between cannabis smokers and mental health disorders, but it might be a chicken and egg thing - those most likely to suffer mental illness gravitate towards smoking dope which in turn exacerbates their mental health problems more rapidly.

It's still a semi-addictive psychoactive drug that impairs the senses and judgement, much like the legal highs that have been banned recently, so don't expect government to approve it anytime soon.

Didn't Labor massively relax dope legislation downgrading it to a type C drug and it didn't work out.

so the Labor government under Blair reclassified it as a C class drug, then Brown came to power had a scientfic investigation.

But Brown reclassified back to B basically to stick 2 fingers to Blair and show he was his own man and ner nee nee ner nee nee.

I really hope the Labor party has grown the f**k up, because if not we're better off with the Conservatives. It's easy to forget what an utter disaster Brown was.

Hypocrites.
People who ask you to go to something but change their mind or make other plans, Even when you told them how much you were looking forward to it and it's not something that can be rescheduled.

Two family members who discuss amongst themselves when they can arrange time off for a catch up and then get cranky when others can't arrange for time off then or have made other plans.

Staff members who seem to only have a sick day either side of a weekend or scheduled day off.

Self-declared Feminists who aren't actually Feminists.

People who identify as vegetarians don't eat meat, atheists don't believe in God, environmentalists recycle but seemingly anyone can declare themselves a Feminist without actually doing anything or adjusting their lifestyles one jot.

Worse, you can quit your job when you're pregnant, bombard Facebook with constant pictures of your wedding day, babies and home baked cakes, blabber on incessantly about high heels, make up and how much you hate female celebrities and yet still call yourself a Feminist.

Is it now just a meaningless label that can be substituted with the words 'I have a vagina'?

An outdated concept that became redundant once we were given equal rights under the law. It's a bit like calling yourself a Suffragette.

Now it's just a label that young women attach to themselves, a throw away bit of superficial hyperbole, like a Miss World contestant telling us that she believes in world peace and ending poverty. However, even though most women don't know what it actually means, if a woman states that she isn't a feminist, then she's usually met with anger and derision from other women, who are exactly the same as her, but identify themselves as feminists.

It's become so distorted as a concept that it now means everything and nothing.
