I don't mean this to sound sarcastic but, from this and your earlier post - according to you the bus seems to always turn up exactly five minutes early which amazes me. Are you sure it's not the case that it's turning up in time and you've misread the timetable?

I'm glad you were seated and warm though. I used to love the happy passengers... They were a joy.

Now I'm not saying this about all Bus drivers. But the ones who sit on their arse's, tutting and raising their eyes and don't help when they see you struggling on to the bus with four kids and a pram. Not to mention the whole world of shopping your trying to get home. That really grinds me.

No, I'm on time 10,25,40 and 55 mins past.

I was, however, taking the piss out of myself for being happy when the timing suited me and pissed off when they didn't !

Oh sorry, I see. I was VERY slow there.

Well if you really want the buses to run on time ring whichever bus company it is and mention how early it is and how often and tell them if it keeps happening you'll ring the traffic commissioner. I guarantee you it won't carry on being early.

Saw a bus driver do that once late at night with a clearly disabled man on crutches. The man as he hurtled across the bus let out an oath. The driver stopped the bus and refused to drive away until the man stepped off the bus.

London bus drivers tend to be a law unto themselves.
There are a few nice ones though.

Of course, there's a higher number of arsehole passengers in cities too, so it's all relative.

I had a bus driver shut the doors on a pushchair as I was disembarking (maybe he just thought I was getting off the bus backwards for the fun of it?) and then he got out and shouted at me in front of a busy highstreet for my carelessness and shit parenting skills and for potentially damaging the bus. Another bus driver decided to take a sharp corner without slowing down at all, with the result that me and the three year old on my lap and the person sitting next to me fell out of our seats and my (safely secured, so I thought) pushchair containing a toddler toppled over.

Maybe he had to maintain a certain speed so the bomb didn't go off?
