14 and 21 are class, too.
Some more one-liners wot I wrote Page 2
Quote: Rick Allden @ January 21 2010, 7:42 PM GMTI caught you a couple of times at Edinburgh a couple of years back - the stories are good, and the one-liners could really enhance it. Still chuckling at the 'she's a keeper' from your other thread.
Cheers Rick, the "keeper" joke is now a fairly permanent fixture in my set.
Hi Tony
Nice gags
Out of interest, I saw your Twitter feed
What were your jokes that got retweeted/stolen
Cheers Steve.
The one that got retweeted unattributed and has now ended up on Sikipedia is;
I hate the way Hollywood changes everything, for instance, Twister, the movie was nothing like the game.
I know that it's my version and not just a similar idea because the wording is exactly the same (in fact I'm not happy with it, it needs restructuring slightly!).
Apparently a lot of comics jokes end up on there, Gary Delaney has had to ditch a few of his because audiences were accusing him of stealing them from the site!
It's annoying but I guess it does show that my joke writing skills are getting there, at least I'm writing something worth nicking!
Very good once again. I would love to be able to tell jokes as funny as those but unfortunately I'm a mute. Did you ever solve the problem of remembering the gags for a routine?

Practice, practice, practice...oh and if that doesn't work writing them on my hand!
Last night I was struggling to get to sleep as I was reciting them over and over and over in my head, hopefully some of them will have lodged in there!
Laughed at all of these. Don't want to upset anyone else but your one-liners have (IMHO) the best hit rate on the forum at the moment.

Thanks Will but bear in mind that these are the ones that have survived a massive editing process (as anyone who follows me on Twitter can testify), now if I can just translate what I write into big laughs on stage I'll be getting somewhere...
Cheers for all the comments folks, will be using some of the recommended ones in my next few gigs and will report back.
Enjoyed the new set Tony, just like the previous one. For the record my faves were: 5. 7. 9. 10. 14. 16. 18. 21. 23. 25. 31.
Keep up the good work
