The Postman Appreciation Thread

I don't know about you guys but I'm a huge fan of the unintended comedy classic 'The Postman' with Kevin Costner.

Has anybody seen it, so hilarious.

"You give out hope like candy from your pocket"

It's a whole film with Kevin Costner going on a disturbing messiah complex, the bit where he's riding his horse picking up the letter from the little boy is just too much in slow mo.

Then at the end it shows you a statue of Kev getting the letter from the boy.

Afterwards there is a flashback of it in case that you forgot.

Jesus Christ the film is so bad but it's absolutely hilarious, it's like a deadpan Monty Python.

I haven't seen it but, for my sins, I am quite a big post-appocalyptic film fan. So although it probably is awful, I suspect I'd probably enjoy it. Just like I did Waterworld.

The book it's based on is ace.

It maybe ironic but by jingo is it long.

Myabe a sequal WaterWorld vs The Postman!

Got dragged to see this on one of the worst dates of my entire life.
