British Comedy Guide

I'm a bit of a tosser, but...

can some of you take pity on me and read a radio play of mine.

Some of you lovely people read a sitcom of mine in the past and were extremely helpful. Admittedly so helpful that I sealed it in a septic tank and threw it down a mineshaft - but don't let that discourage you. I do that with everything.

Essentially, the last thing that went off to the Writers' Room got rejected, but it had made it past a few stages. Now I have a radio play which I like.

In listening to other BBC radio 'comedies' I know that mine differs loads - but I'd really appreciate anyone taking the time and being as critical as you feel like being?

I'll certainly return the favour if you're interested.

PM me if you like.
I don't know how soon I'll get to it, but it sounds like ideal Work Displacement Activity.

I'll read it - I don't care what it's about.

Ah, good point.

A sort of anachronism-heavy medieval love/revenge story.

Ta very much - I'm in work at the moment but will PM tonight.

Hi Rick,

I always enjoyed your stuff in Critique, good to see you back!

I'd like to have a look at your play. I doubt I'd be able to offer any advice, but if you want a laypersons opinion....PM me too please.

Ta very much for your comments Angie - really, really useful.

Nice one.

I think I said I'd read your last script, didn't I? I should've told you the email account that you sent the link to suddenly closed down, before I read it.

You did indeed - although I thought you got back to me about it with your comments.

Closed down? What did you DO?
