Best sitcom moment of the 1990s? Page 2

Ah of cooooooooourse!

I saw it recently as well. Awesome.

I turned 13 in 2000 so my memories of 90s sitcoms are a bit shaky...

From what I can remember (of the later years...)

"These cows are small, the cows out there are far away" - Father Ted

Alan Partridge on 12ft high chickens - "they're scared! They don't know why they're so big!"

The Clubbing episode of Spaced gets another vote from me.

I was also going to say about the
"These cows are small, the cows out there are far away" - Father Ted. definitely one of the best.

Mani in Black Books mashed up on Absinth, cooking Bees on a spit and shouting lonely soldier at the radio.

That wasn't nineties was it?! Was that nineties? It can't be that long ago!

Might well be, my memory is shot to shit. Box set package says 2006 but that could just be the box set.

Oh don't let me make you doubt yourself, I haven't got a clue. Just feels really recent is all but I haven't done much with the last 10 years...

Yay! Cheers for the validation Kevin

Thus I win ;)

Victor finding the plant in his toilet in One Foot In The Grave or Richie and Eddie attacking the gasman in Bottom

I have got countless favourite moments from One Foot In The Grave:

1) The Honda song in The beast in the cage.
2) "The pain in the arse" pub sign with the painting of Victor Meldrew's face drawn on it
3) Victor Meldrew being so drunken that he throws icecubes instead of dice.
4) Victor Meldrew forcing Patrick and Pippa to sleep in his double bed

I could go on with the list for much longer...

The chess fight in Bottom. Sublime. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNhTYJGjc2g

Ray Winstone in One Foot in the Grave, sticking Mrs Warboys in a sack in the boot of his car for yackingon and then kicking her down the motorway verge.

Not to mention the dog mounting Mrs Warboys in the sack before school children drawing the scene, the same ones who drew Victor being sick at the very beginning of the episode
