Father and Son at Lunch

INT. KITCHEN
Dad sits reading the paper son sits across from him happily eating spaghetti Bolognese. He looks up and smiles at Dad spaghetti sauce splattered all over his his face.

Dad smiles uncomfortably and looks back down at his paper. He shuffles still feeling he's being watched he looks up and Son it still looking at him smiling a big toothy grin.

Dad looks quickly down at his paper. He looks up again Son is still smiling at him Dad starts to panic, he takes out his mobile and speed dials.

Dad

Hi Mum do you want to look after Lance this weekend… yeah… yeah… the smiling thing again. Thanks Mum.

He hangs up and takes his coffee and paper out of the kitchen Dad still smiling at him

No Tom I think it maybe more visual I really think I should stop posting after a few beers lol

I actualy liked it. It was very visual so put me at the scene. I had visions of the son looking like a wee Norman Bates. Not a cute version either.

I didn't get it either I'm afraid. It's probably lost in translation and works perfectly well in your head. Can we look in your head?

I get it and it can be done with lots of things, I think I've seen it somewhere before? But I can't think where.
