Chevy Chase

Whatever happened to him, eh?

He popped up recently on the last series of 'Chuck' as an evil more evil Steve Jobs character.

He's about to appear in the film 'Hot Tub Time Machine'.

He's currently on NBC's Community. Funny enough and created by internet TV hero Dan Harmon. The show centers around a group of adult students at a community college and Chevy Chase is the old guy trying to be hip but instead generally ends up being Chevy Chase.

Excellent - perhaps the start of a comeback then.

He's hilarious in Community.

Didn't he do some sketches in a recent Secret Policeman's Ball?

I think I need educating.
To date I have never see him do anything remotely funny.
But he seems to be a lot of people's hero.
Point me in the direction of the good stuff - then at least I'll feel I've given him a fair crack of the whip.

Caddyshack, Fletch and Fletch Lives are all ticklers.

National Lampoon's Vacation is my favourite Chase movie. He also did some great work on early Saturday Night Live... it's too bad NBC is pretty aggressive in keeping clips off YouTube.

I remember him in Cops and Robbersons a film with the kid from Free Willy

I like Community and I like Chevy Chase overall despite "Cops and Robbersons" *shudder*

His character in Caddyshack is probably his funniest but Fletch was pretty good and I enjoyed Spies Like Us and the Three Amigos. At least two of the Vacation films were good.

I watched Funny Farm t'other day. Quite a likeable little film, not out-and-out funny but very, very few films are.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is IMHO one of the best Christmas films, almost like a collection of Christmas themed sketches.

But CC himself doesn't strike me as a 'funny man' tbh.

Yes Dolly, I remember the Policeman's Ball stage show thingy, wasn't it a bit of a shambles?

I don't think it translates well on TV, but there was that awful Horne and Corden set.
