3. Phoenix Nights
4. I'm Alan Partridge (Series 2)
5. Peep Show
6. The Inbetweeners
7. Marion & Geoff
8. Gavin & Stacey
9. The King Of Queens
10. Family Guy

Not a bad list. I'd find room for The Thick of It, though. One of the standout shows of the decade. And American shows like Arrested Development and 30 Rock need to be up there.

I'd find also find room for Arrested Development. And Wonder Showzen, South Park, The IT Crowd, Not Going Out and 15 Storeys High too (getting rid of Gavin & Stacey, Phoenix Nights, King of Queens and Marion & Geoff, none of which I've seen).

1. 15 Storeys High
2. Arrested Development
3. The IT Crowd
4. Peep Show
5. Not Going Out
6. The Office
7. The Inbetweeners
8. South Park
9. Family Guy
10. Wonder Showzen

Partridge series one would be on there, but it was 97.

I'll quickly pick five off the top of my head, and I'm only going for shows that actually started this deacde. (So no Spaced)

Arrested Development
30 Rock
Black Books
Peep Show
Darkplace

I find it hard to pick ten!

but ok let's see

1.The Inbetweeners
2.Little Britain
3.Miranda
4.My Family
5.Nighty Night
6.2 Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps
7.After You've Gone
8.As If
9.Outnumbered
10.My Hero

Only doing sitcoms:

1. The Office (UK)
2. Peep Show (series 1-4 anyway, has gone somewhat off the boil since)
3. The Thick of It
4. I'm Alan Partridge
5. Curb Your Enthusiasm
6. Arrested Development
7. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
8. Spaced

4. Inbetweeners
5. Two and a Half Men
6. Shameless
7. Rules of Engagement

Possibly the worst decade in the history of situation comedy

Probably true.

Probably true.

I can't think of 10 shows I watched that have made me laugh and have kept up good standard. That's pretty poor.
