Poor old Galloway, he humiliated himself impersonating a cat on TV and yet he's continually lambasted here not for this but for using a word with far too many syllables when attempting to make a grand and heroic speech about an out of favour statesman. Shame on all of you.

He looks a slightly hairier Tangoman in the flesh.
Quote: Aaron @ May 1 2010, 11:55 PM BSTHorrific waste of taxes. Local councils are more than capable enough of running decentralised aspects of Government.
Sorry - some local councils are total shite - I'm thinking Glasgow here - always moaning about shortage of money but they squander what they have.
And there introduce another level of super expensive government?
Quote: sootyj @ May 1 2010, 11:56 PM BSTWell they don't do much other than give Alexander "should be smoked" Salmond airtime. He has the charm of Brown, the sincerity of Cameron and the indefatigability of Galloway.
what's 'should be smoked'?
Alec Salmond (like George Galloway, though I don't agree with him) has some personality ... the others have the personalities of cold porridge.
Galloway does. Salmond seems like a minicab driver who wandered on set to pick up a real politician and got given a mike.
Sorry but like your football teams Scottish politicians are strictly not world class.

Football! Don't start me. World class? why do we need to be world class? This is the trouble with Britain - the idea we need to rule the world. We're all just insects scrabbling on the face of the earth. Let's just be happy to be alive instead of wanting to dictate to all the other insects.
Yeh but some of us are puny weevils and some of us are mighty dung beatles.
Can I be a butterfly?

I'd like to be a woodlouse. Dunno why, but I would.

Instead of witty social commentaries I'd write scripts for Bee movies. >_<
That'll never fly.
