General Election 2010 Page 127

Perhaps now this election's done, they can go back to having proper news on the telly.

I'm sure there's loads of stuff we haven't been told about.

Yep!

(Btw - I didn't mean that everyone who votes Conservative is a braying toff who's never done a day's work in their life. :D )

Yeah but they've never done a hard day's work like me. Admittedly it was just one day.

What I'm complaining about is that unless I vote Conservative my vote counts for nothing because of the present system and living in an extremely Tory area, where over 60% of the population will always vote Tory, no matter what, because it's what their families have always done.

And their are also people who always vote Labour because it's what their families have always done so don't just single out the Tory voters.

My parents have voted for both Tory and Labour in the past depending on their polices etc.

So their are some people who aren't exclusive to just one party.

As for PR. I know from Israel it is a flipping disaster. Religious fanatics running education and religious affairs. A racist immigrant party having foreign affairs and destroying any chance for peace. In 1st past the post they wouldn't have any seats.

Where as with it they manage to stop a majority leftwing party forming a government.

Surely under PR if they had a majority they would be able to form a Government?

But yes, I have reservations about full PR. I see no problems with AV.

I know we're supposed to hate Alistair Campbell, but he's rapidly becoming a hero. I loved him going at it with Adam Strapon.

Very true.

But I'm in a bad mood. :)

Great reason for my boyfriend to propose now though! :)

Lolz.
I imagine there being a list on the fridge door, that you add to whenever you think of a new reason.

Ooo, is another reason that he has a surname which will perfectly fit with her name? Like Ellie Fant, or Ellie J Ball, or Ellie Galimmigrant?

I think his last name is Smellie.

He hasn't seen the list. Waiting for the right moment. ;)
