It's good cos it bring lots more stupid things, like "Can they cut the mustard?"

Oh, no, not the puns, noooooooooo!!!

Laughing out loud They're inevitable!

I know, I know, I shall have to take it like a man.

Is sit just me, or does John Major look and sound like he is computer generated?

Does he keep jumping over barrels hurled by a monkey?

I'll admit I am not an expert on the BNP (living in America, all we get is the official demagogic version--and that you have to search out), but that clip has no context and what I saw makes it very hard for me to sympathize with someone who spits in someone else's face especially as it seems like the hoodies were the aggressors (although I couldn't understand most of what was being said).

I agree.

I just linked to the vid to demonstrate that somebody who kicks the shit out of his would-be constituents could not reasonably be described as a "harmless oaf".

He looked like he'd been in a fight before.

Eddie Yates was a harmless oaf.

The notion that the British people 'wanted' a hung parliament is risible. We got a hung parliament because none of the parties were particularly impressive. Yes, Labour got drubbed and the Lib Dems underachieved, but last nights vote was hardly a moral victory for Cameron.

I doubt if you asked most people who voted what Labour policies they were unhappy about they would remain largely silent. A few have a keen interest but from most people you'll just hear 'I didn't like Brown'. To many people it was a personality contest and the fourth estate colluded in that which is beyond shameful.

Good riddance.

Because? (you don't even live in the same country).

Agreed.

It was a personality contest in so far as Brown's personality makes him an ineffective prime minister. But he fell ultimately on his economic record and the unimpressive achievements the Labour administration. (I refer you to Godot's helpful list).

Because he's a self-aggrandizing, pompous, terrorist sympathizer.

He does a great cat impression, though.

I'll give him that.

But you must admit it was pretty cool when he tore through that Senate committee.
