Newsjack - Series 2 Page 8

I wonder if the snow will slow down proceedings, regarding getting back to us submitters. If those poor bastards that have to read everything weren't able to get to their 'puters an' all. Someone call Mr Plow to clear the way to the Newsjack computers!

That could be quite good for my confidence; if I don't get on the show then I'll simply blame it on the snow and not myself.

Cocaine is a filthy habit.

Cocaine is a filthy habit.

I know, it's been up in the sky and everything.

I imagine that the people who work on the show have remote access to their email. However, I wonder if numbers will be thin for the recording tomorrow night given the snow fall is supposed to be worse tomorrow evening...

The recording is tonight, isn't it?

Isn't it tonight? Eh?

That's freaky! :D

Tonights is the night, where two... sorry, it is tonight.

Ah yes, well, all my friends who worked in central got sent home early at 3pm/4pm, so I do wonder if a good number stuck it out for the recording. Let's hope so!

I actually got snow here for a change, and I live right by the beach. (where the salt usually kills it off)
Therefore, "rest-of-Britain" must be caked in the cold white stuff.

I take it nobody here made it to the recording then.

I didn't, and I expect the forecasts put people off, but central London was nothing like the snowbound wasteland predicted yesterday and this morning. It'll be interesting to hear the show tomorrow cos I doubt they had a big crowd. If anyone gets their stuff in and it dies then there's always the excuse that it was killed by lack of audience. :)

This is the first time I've written anything, so I have very little hope. But have people who got stuff to the recording stage heard yet? Waiting for rejection is much harder than I expected.

I'm sure last series, a few BCGers had heard something by this stage, (though others hadn't and still ended up recorded). Wouldn't be surprised if NJ had far more subs to trawl through this time round.

Btw, I refuse to get too caught up in the weekly rejection process this time - but I know I secretly will. Hey ho.

Thanks clueless. I'd hoped there might be less material this time, as people got fed up... oh well. Hiding under the duvet is clearly my best option for now.
