A lot of people were though in the 70s. Even I tried it once, just as practice. Very good for your poise, balance and all that, better than that yoga crap which just gives you backache and makes your brain fuzzy.
I went to yoga classes about 20 years ago, and found it quite beneficial, and in fact, I wish now I'd kept it up as my body seems to be now slowly but surely seizing up.
The best thing about the yoga class was seeing youngish females in skimpy clothes, legs akimbo, and at the end of the session, when we were winding down by laying on our backs, whilst the lady instructor said calming words, was some people would start snoring as they dropped off, which started everyone else tittering, of which I did a lot of, thank you very much. ? Tittering, that is.
Frankie Howerd wouldn't have approved.
Nor would he of watching ladies with their legs akimbo
