That Micheal Jacob -- what a sheep, writing to please and appease us...

Has this joke been left to me? Do I *have* to..?

Dan

I'll help you with the knockers, Dan.

I think the word 'knockers' is due for a comeback. :)

And he's on again!

I wonder if the BBC moderators are as hot on catching multiple-username trolls as Aaron.

Well, for what it's worth, someone has now decided to add a riposte under the name of one of my sitcom characters. Bastard. :(

Never mind that Tim, who the f**k told this Christian Tandy about our New Year's resolutions? Whoever it was, the f**ker will rue the day.

:D

So what was the outcome of all this debate in the end?

Except for the fact that knockers is long overdue for a comeback. And Aaron heads an imaginary cult of failed writers. Hmmm... this thread has been like an after-dinner discussion where the red wine and mints have been replaced with LSD.

To sum up: most people didn't like Big Top because they were bitter, but some could have expressed their dislike and disappointment better, giving reasons of what they didn't like and understanding that some people might like this show for those very same reasons.

Oh and the word 'knockers' is due for a comeback.

Knobs and Knockers? Or just Knockers?

Pretty weird that the man whose blog post inspired this thread visits this thread and almost everybody ignores him.

Eh?

red wine and mints

Wine and mints? Are you crazy?!

Although, I, standing in the humble minority enjoyed this show, for those who didn't I think you should also respect the fact that it is clear Micheal is defending the writer, to whom he has been a mentor, as well as the show, and for this he has my utmost admiration.

It's Micheal, Davod.

Laughs out loud. Thanks Marc I have since amended the error in question.

:) I was only teasing.

I watched the second episode (the first wasn't on there) on i-player today. In it's defence I'd like to add that it's not as bad as a sitcom starring Amanda Holden could have been.
