Sketches that would make good sitcoms Page 4

Amazed they thought Swiss Toni would make a good spin off.

No surprises it turned out to be dreadful.

I've never seen The Fast Show, but thought that Swiss Toni was great.

I think you'd enjoy The Fast Show Aaron.
It's definitely one of my favourite sitcoms

It's a sketch show!

No I don't mean the 'control' sketches.

err I liked it too...it had hidden complexities and pathos I thought...

Laughing out loud

Adam Buxton's Ken Korda in The Adam and Joe Show. That character is absolutely hilarious and would've made a great sitcom. His interview with the IT crowd is so funny.

Adam Buxton's Ken Korda in The Adam and Joe Show.

A terrorism piece (maybe a bit too much like Team America?) featuring cuddly toys may also have worked.

The Adventures of Constable Savage; a bigoted corrupt cop who spends each week fitting people up and taking backhanders.

Aaron, this avoidance of The Fast Show is really quite disturbing especially as you claim to be too young to have seen it during its original run. There are a dozen mini sitcoms that you'd enjoy so get it and watch it!

Avoidance? I've just not had time to watch it yet.

I think there should be a sitcom based on the sweet shop sketch from The Two Ronnies. I always think sitcoms in shops work quie well.

Simon Day's Billy Bleach character cried out for its show, which they then made and managed to get completely wrong.

The Bureau De Change!

This and Brian Butterfield would be my choices.
