Haven't they actually asked the kids what they want?
What sort of Sunday are you having? Page 3

How can someone with minor children and a terminal disease not write up a will? The mind boggles.

We were told there was no will, but remember, her friend was there in the house for 2 weeks at the end. She spent over $3,000 in that time, a lot of her jewelry disappeared, who's to say there wasn't a will? I wouldn't be surprised.

The oldest wants to come here, the middle daughter wants to stay where her friends are, and the little guy is autistic and doesn't show any opinion one way or the other.
Looks like you've got a battle. You know, it's a petty they can't test her by saying she can take them but they can only provide her with minimum benefits - she'll have to help out a bit - and see if she changes her mind.
I don't see how she has more rights as a friend of the family whereas you are relatives!! Hope you get some good advice and manage to sort everything out Andrea.
We have the support of my husband's entire family. The childrens law guardian believes we are what's best for the kids as well. I'm actually getting ready to take the foster parenting classes that are offered here for people wanting to take the steps to be able to take in foster kids. Our lawyer told us that there's a pretty good chance that they will end up in the system for a while until all gets sorted out. We will have to formally adopt them, so I'm preparing for home visits and all the stuff that comes with it. My kids are praying that we do get them, especially my daughter, because she'll gain 2 sisters.
I'm currently tucking into the crispy kind.
Good Luck with everything Andrea.
Yeah, I really hope it works out for you all, Andie.
Good luck Andie. Xx
I've had a rather expensive Sunday. Typical gigantic food bill in the supermarket and then had to buy a new laptop after the cat knocked a glass of wine over my recently repaired one.
Another reason why cats shouldn't get pissed up.

Oops!
That wasn't quite what you needed.
My Sunday's been fine, just relaxing & watching TV
Although there's not much on to be honest.
*looks for 'What are you watching' thread to see if anyone has any good ideas.
I finished my movie My editing doesn't really match the style of the film, but still fun
Andie Best Wishes!
