What sort of Sunday are you having? Page 2

Shit. Windows 7 is annoying. Nothings working properly, I should be somewhere else enjoying good company but I'm stuck in this shithole doing work in the freezing cold.

I've been pretty ill again. So spent most of today in bed. Buy am planning on cooking a roast later. I am watching my boyfriend's housemate play Wolfenstein right now.

The original or the PS/360 remake?

PS3. it's pretty scary.

She who must be obeyed is out with a family friend giving me a nice afternoon watching the snooker. Heaven.

I have to remember to switch the oven off in approx an hour.

Despair, self-loathing and watching the clock tick slowly forward towards death. A typical Sunday.

Fighting the temptation to switch the gas oven on.

Atleast you have that option I got electric oven. So if I leave it on I just waste more money.

Much better than any remakes, though! ;)

I just came home, currently drinking tea and flicking through the channels on TV. Nothing interesting on, by the way. Just loads of screaming kids on Supernanny. :(

Damn, you quoted my post before I had a chance to repair the incomplete screen shot. Poor Hitler's been chopped in half. :(

Having a rather shitty day. It's beginning to look more and more like we won't be taking in my husband's cousin's kids. Their mother's best friend is causing all kinds of problems for us. She originally only wanted the 2 younger children because of reasons I have mentioned before. Now she says she wants all 3. I'm guessing it's because of all the money she'll have coming in for caring for them. Two of the 3 are special needs and she'll get all kinds of benefits from the state and the kids' social security. We also found out that in their mother's final weeks, this "friend" stayed at their house, in the name of taking care of the kids. She managed to empty their mother's checking account and suddenly many many items are missing. But what she's using as leverage is the fact that she has no children (we have 3), she's known them since birth, I've had cancer (how low is that!!!) and that she has more free time for the kids. Did I mention that she's been living off public assistance for the past 12 years?????? I'm in a very bad mood.

Is there no will regarding the future of the kids Andie?

No will at all. If there had been, the kids would have most likely been left to their grandparents, who are in their 80s. They have health issues now, otherwise they would have taken them with open arms. That's when we were suggested, and we were the only option they had, until their mother's friend crawled out from under the rock where she lives and made this big showy gesture of wanting the kids.
