Super Duper Super Squad Full

Hi All

Comments so far on this have really been useful. This is the first full-length version of 'Super Duper Super Squad'. It's now 7 minutes long. I've added the sound effects and music. Would love to get feedback on it (whether it's funny, voices, music, sound effects, anything) before (and if) I start sending it off. Please take a look:

Big cheers

I liked it...Not really funny though, but nice to look at.

I'm a fan, Yacob - but in every version I've seen of this, I can never fully understand what the mug is saying.

This has a lot of great things going for it, and not many against. There are technical issues with the sound, some of the editing is slightly off and the lip sync is a bit blurry (you can see previous frames over each other).

But everything else is great. The script is very slightly clunky, but it's packed with lots of great gags and background gags too (I kept pausing to read them (but that's not a bad thing)). You have lots of fun characters to play with and a good set up. The humour will easily transfer to telly, and I can see this on CBBC for example.

You had lots of things going on, which is technically impressive. I'm used to seeing two-way conversations in YouTube animations, but you had a full cast chatting away, adding their own voice to it.

I couldn't rate this any higher, comparing it to other internet animations. It's was very, very good.

Good luck with it, we can see the hard work you have put into it and I hope it gets you far. Because producing something like this, you deserve it.

Really? well looks can be deceiving! Good work so far, no doubt about it. I just don't think it's strong enough.

I should have been more clear; maybe not this version. But after a script polish, real voice actors and a team of animators. Then, then I could see it on CBBC. But as an example of this man's work, it's definitely very impressive.

Impressive...I Agree!

Thanks for the comments so far.

Lime5000 - Ah well. Shame you didn't find it funny but happy you liked the way it looked. I haven't had a great deal of practice with drawing and animation recently so am quite surprised people aren't revolted with the visuals.

Don - Damn. Thought I fixed the mug's voice.

Leevil - Cheers. Very complimentary. Is there anything specific about the editing I should change? There are some quick flashes of black between some scenes which I've now been able to fix (not on the YouTube link but at the version I'm working on now) and I've alleviated the blurriness. Also, anything specific about the sound and script clunkiness I could change? Sorry to ask all these follow-ups. You've answered enough times already.

Any other opinions from anyone regarding the humour (or lack of), music, look, voices (I agree there should be more vocal variation, but I'm cheap), etc, would be great (though I've really probably asked enough on this piece already and should stop asking for advice on it).

Cheers
Yac
