You could always change the set-up of the sketch to one where the pizza delivery boy has been run over outside the customer's house. You'd still have the police/ambulance crew etc, with the customer more concerned about the state of his pizza than the poor delivery boy. After checking that his pizza is unharmed, you could then have him trying to escape any questioning from the police officer - the customer trying to get back indoors, being incredibly hungry and also worried that his food is getting cold...

That is a better idea. The thing is that this probably won't see the light of day anyway so. I suppose worth changing it about just for the practice.
