Clown Chowder: new stand-up comedy gig Page 9

I've been hearing some good things about this David Bussell chap. Apparently Chortle have described him as "...one to... watch..." (the original quote of "Not one to lend your watch to" being quite beside the point).

I should add that the second Chowder comes with an entry fee of £3. Expensive backdrops, audio equipment and midget hookers don't pay for themselves you know.

If you're still running in the summer, I'd love to come to this. Not planning on going to London until then though, so... :)

I'll be on around the end of the gig I suspect - say 5:30-6:00. Be great to see you there (that's you, Griff, not Leevil, he's just so desperately impoverished).

:( Bugger you then :P

Goes to alternative comedy club... Errr

I might pop along to this as I missed the first one!

What time does it start and where is it?

Just as well, our brand of comedy is frighteningly conservative.

Go ahead and forget your spot, Kevin, it's all the more stage time for me to make tired jokes about Gordon Brown. Wait a minute, has anyone ever thought to work his name into the song, 'Golden Brown'? Oh, this is ripe for parody!

The sound of the Gordon Brown?

Another rousing success on Sunday marred only by the collapse of one of our acts and my accidental molestation of an audience member. Photos on their way - of the gig, not the afformentioned grope. Grope is a funny word. Grope. Ha!

Skipping over Valentine's Day, the next gig will be on the 21st February - more to follow...

Wibble, wibble, etc.

when you tell people 'I'm insane!', it usually means you're just kind of irritating.

Photos are now up from the second Clown Chowder event. Ask yourself why you weren't there and burn with shame.
