Clown Chowder: new stand-up comedy gig Page 16

That's just Ellie on the wind-up because it's more than 3 stops from where she lives. We're in Angel, which is a less than 10 minutes on the Underground from central London. Aren't I right in thinking you don't even live in London though?

It's not that far really. :)

See what you've done, Ellie? People are shying away from the experience of a lifetime because you've gone and put the idea into their heads that we're in some God forsaken, South of the river part of London!

You are correct. I'd love to come to all these gigs, meet-ups and swinging sessions. But it's the bits before and after that put me off. I'm not much of a doordler.

*Is "doordler" even a word and if it is what is the correct spelling?

It's frickin' ages for me, but for those who live in Angel it's really close. :)

Bits before and after? You mean the travel? Where do you live?

Not necessarily the travel. I dunno, I just would hate to get somewhere early and have to hang about. Or leave late and miss trains or have to wait for them. Yeah, travel Pleased.

Oh, I live in Northampton. It takes about an hour to get to London. Which isn't bad, but still loads of hassle. I'm too lazy.

Daudeller?

I really wanted to make this one but My Father in law is down this week

Yeah, I really wanted to make it this week, but my father is down this week. What a coincidence?

I really wanted to go, but my gay lover's father in law is coming down this week, so I'm gonna do him as well.

*runs away*

I will genuinely go the next time work send me down on a Tuesday.

Tomorrow, Tuesday 21st is the date, BCGers. We'll be at The Old Queen's Head in Angel, Islington.

How can the Old Queen's Head be in the Angel? Isn't the Angel the Wetherspoons pub? Or does it refer to the Angel Islington tube station?

Dawdler.

Dawdler.

That makes more sense.
