Suicide

MAN AT A LARGE WINDOW TOP STOREY.
ANOTHER MAN [2]APPROACHES.

MAN 2
It's not worth it believe me.

MAN 1
Go away, you know nothing.

MAN 2
Please just listen..

MAN 1
Go away!!

MAN 2
Can you imagine your horror once you jump?
it's too late then.

MAN 1
What would you know?

MAN 2
I'll show you
HE JUMPS, WE HEAR HIS SCREAMS THEN A LOUD THUD.
MAN 1..STEPS QUICKLY BACKWARDS INTO THE ROOM.

MAN 1
Jeeesus keriste! I wasn't that serious.

Laughing out loud Good one!

MAN 1
Jeeesus keriste! I wasn't that serious. (PONDERS) He had a point though...

What's with all the suicide sketches lately? Huh?

It's more a somewhat humourous thought, there BB, rather then a sketch. It's not bad, nut not hilarious or necessary as a stand-alone sketch. Where would it fit in, and who would you be writing it for?

Nice try though. :)

It is a very nice idea, and although it is okay as it is, I would be inclined to draw it out more, have the man talking him down becoming more and more graphic, and the jumper more and more dismissive, so it is both more shocking and more logical when the man jumps. For the final line, rather than reacting strongly, I would have the man say, something like 'He's got a point' before sidling away.

It's just something to do, I wrote it straight onto here, it's not even in my docs :D I do like short sketches though.

Thanks for the other comments too.

Just found this excelent

Very sharp

Maybe if he final line was

"Oooh that does look nasty."

I quite liked this one. Agree with Timbo and Sooty though about the final line.

Yes, nice and punchy. Sooty's line is a better finish, though.

sorry mate but you must have got the same joke book I got caught with.

Maybe a grammar book for you this Xmas.

As a foreigner,I am interested in English grammar and would appreciate your education.
What is the correct way to write......Sorry mate but you must have got the same joke book I got caught with.

The grammar is fine; the punctuation needs attention.

I'm confused, does this mean Mark P is wrong.
