I stopped watching a year or two ago, Ross just got too annoying.

Claudia Winkleman is replacing him on Film 2010!
Ah yes. The well known film pundit.
Dumb down a bit further, eh.
Quote: zooo @ March 29 2010, 1:26 PM GMTBut as far as I know, she knows nothing about film.

Claudia currently has her own weekly Arts Show on BBC Radio 2 on Friday nights, delivering a feast of the finest offerings from film, theatre, arts, TV and music.
I'll give her the benefit of the doubt for the moment.
I definitely agree with it being a female presenter now - obviously the time is just right with wassername winning her Oscar for directing, but a female with more obvious movie type credentials than Claudia! If it had to be a current presenter (but why) then one of those cool C4 girls would have been a better choice. In fact they already interview a lot of film stars, so it would've made sense. I would have chosen the black one who partners that Welsh bloke. (I'm rubbish with names) The odd choice of Miss Wnkleman just looks like that unkillable BBC disease of 'lets keep it with our lot' in practice yet again.
Bring back Mariella Frostrup!
Oooh, maybe she does know about film then. I take it back.
All she ever talks about is woodland animals!

If you're talking about June Sarpong you have got to be f**king kidding. She's one of the worst presenters I've ever seen.

She is rubbish. Barely coherent, in fact.
Quote: zooo @ March 29 2010, 1:26 PM GMTEvidently the BBC are going in a new direction with it now.
Yeah, BBC3 by the sounds of it.
No not her, although I quite liked her as well, she's the one who used to partner Jimmy Carr, yes?
Okay, apparently she's not black, but mixed race, my mistake, so I obviously steered you wrongly. Partners the Welsh ex model, loves himself. On TV a lot still, interviewed Lilly Allen not long ago, you know the one. Yes her - I'd have her on Film 2010 etc.
Erm.... Miquita Oliver?
Used to be with Simon Amstell??
Think she's still only about 20, bit too young for a big show like that I reckon.
You need a new Jonathan Ross? I can can get you a new Jonathan Ross by 3pm tomorrow. Don't ask me how...
Do you mean this lady Mr Kipper ?:
That's the one! Na get out of it, I think a bit of youth is what's needed for film review shows now, tons of young cinema goers out there! Anyway if she's only 20 then she must have started at about 12! as she's been on a few years now. Good presenter as well.
Okay, I looked her up, she's 26.
I remember when she started she was having days off to do her GCSE exams!
Anyway, I don't think she could really handle Film 2010 by herself. She's never been as good without Simon.
Disagree, she never lets that Welsh bloke get the better of her and she is funny on her own, I think she'd do a brilliant job.
Anyway, point is, they got another bird doin' a man's job.
It's a man's job reviewing the fillums and that.
