OK then.

He is a bit Special though.

:)

I have to say I like Peter Kay.

If you don't like his humour then don't go to the show or watch his stuff.

Is the fact he is fat something to do with his smugness David?

Easy tiger, he didn't take credit for the song if anything is gave Tony Cristies career a major boost (for about 15 minutes).

He did take credit for it. It said on the cover Tony Christie Feat. Peter Kay. If that's not taking credit I don't know what is. Even on the chart listings it said the same thing.

No it's not I just can't stand his smugness or his wanker of an attitude, he expects everyone to find him funny and love him. He's let fame go to his head.

Like I said on my other post "I mean no offence to fat people/ I am not exactly skinny myself" It's just an easy dig at him, cheap? yes I'll admit that. But easy.

I just despise him. I don't watch his stuff and turn over whenever I hear his name, his voice or see him on TV but he seems to be inflicted on us at every opportunity. Children in Need, random chatshows, music videos Amarillo, Texas (sleep), The new children in need one, adverts for his DVDs, random crappy Channel 4 sitcoms that are not funny in the slightest. Endless stand up shows on TV that get repeated at every given opportunity (presumably to give him money to buy more pies and chips).

Then why mention the word fat in the post? Just state you don't like him because of his smugness.

You clearly do have a problem with people being fat, because again you make referance to it at the bottom of your post. Fat is a "bad thing" hence why you repeatedly refer it in your posts, you think it adds to your point. Just embrace your personal prejudices - don't deny. Trust me you are not all alone.

As you say you turn over when he comes on. Good. That's what you do. I do that when EastEnders comes on - but I understand that a lot of people like it.

Anyway must go, its happy hour at the burger van.

Peter Kay is alright, No strong feelings either way. But some of his his stuff makes me laugh. He's going to be better the Fleetwood Mac and Sam Fox.

Like I said "I'm not exactly skinny myself" and also that's it's just a cheap way to have a dig at him. I'll say what I want about him thank you.

Which one do you mean? Graham Norton, Julian Clary, Paul O'Grady?

I hate that thing that Peter Kay, Vernon Kay, Dave Spikey and Paddy McGuinness all do, where they'll tell a shit, simplistic joke, then act as if they know it's shit, as if that somehow makes it acceptable. It must be a Bolton thing, because that's where they're all from.

As for Amarillo, Harry Hill used to sing that at the end of his stand up shows, which is where Peter Kay probably got the idea to cover it.

He didn't cover it, he just did a stupid dance in the video to the original track by Tony Christie, but then tagged his name onto the cd cover. He's such a c**t

As I've said before, Kay once re-used a funny anecdote that had been told by a contestant on Family Fortunes.
