I seem to recall a rumour that Jennifer Saunders frequents this site...

She's all the people who come in from time to time and make one post praising her - or is that Adrian Edmondson?

Well I had a PM from Ruth Jones.

So why didn't I? I always said what a brilliant versatile comedy actress she was - until Gavin and Stacey.

Leevil - you must be elated.

Although Mrs Saunders isn't one I've slagged off, it kinda makes me wish I'd shut my mouth and mumbled pleasantries over some of the hideously dire piles of shite in the 'proper' comedy section. But, it never entered my head that a celeb could carry a grudge against a BCG member and fellow writer just because BCG member didn't like said celebrity's work. That's because it would never really enter my own head to carry such a petty grudge if I were in the celeb's position.

I couldn't be happier! :D

Well I had a PM from Ruth Jones, so I would imagine James Corden has read and enjoyed the Gavin and Stacey thread.

Almost good enough to get a PM, Dave, I would say. A couple of people have asked me what she said, but since she PM'd it and didn't post it I'm not going to say. It wasn't abuse or a marriage proposal or a request for help with a script. If you read my contributions to the Gavin and Stacey forum - about seventy posts - you can work it out, anyway.

Was she ordering a taxi?

I got an email from Susan Nickson... :)

Did she send you a photo of a rash?

Was she ordering a taxi?

A sore point Leevil. Don't forget that Gavin gets a Taxi from Leicester Square to Billericay on a Saturday night in the first episode of Gavin and Stacey. A next to impossible event that foreshadows the level of care and attention that the writers were to lavish on the series.

You bastard! Hang on, wasn't it from her solicitor? If only she'd asked you to write for the show...

But some rashness was involved? :P :)
