I know I'll be in the minority, but I rather liked it.

What did you like about it?

I found the jokes incredibly weak and a lot of the cast under-used.

Well...let's look at the positives.

BBC 1 is showing new comedy.

There is going to be a new slot available soon :)

I think they should pass a law that in future, any circus / clown based programming should be made exclusively by the League of Gentlemen team only.

Luckily, the script and characters are so forgettable, most of it is leaving my memory as I type.

The budget was obviously too small to include any circus animals (not counting a Scotty Dog) and the BBC is far too PC to feature some proper freaks. And as we all know, a circus without animals or freaks is basically just a load of French people poofing about.

Oh and it had a cod Eastern European accent, always the kiss of modern comedy death.

Laughing out loud Laughing out loud

'Cod'?

I thought that the accent was terrible.

But I am looking forward to episode 2.

I feel violated

I think I went into it not expecting too much, just easygoing comedy for early Wednesday night. I thought the script was faster than a lot of other comedies, and I did laugh at some of the jokes. I think I've realised that, while I do cringe at some cliches in comedy, I can accept them with a smile, especially since the show wasn't taking itself too seriously. I don't know really. It was just pleasant viewing for me, and it's only the first episode, so I can't pin everything on it.

I suppose it's in the same vein that Lab Rats was - big cartoony stuff and terrible puns, but nobody really liked that show either. It probably won't last beyond one series, but I think I'll enjoy it.

Well...let's look at the positives.

Peter Kay, Katie 'Whoredan' Price and Myleene Klass weren't in it.

It's always funny to read how people rush to their computers to slag off something!

:D

Ok it certainly wasn't comedy magic.....but blimey I've seen far worse crap on TV over the years than this, that's for sure.

Agree with the other guy....just nice easy viewing for a Wednesday evening.

To be fair they rushed to praise Miranda!

This got what it deserved.

It wasn't terrible.

It looks like BBC are trying to do harmless sitcoms for a while.
