Big Top Page 18

Messrs Moonstone Carpark and Walker have summed it up nicely. Good work boys. Mr Jacobs is duty bound to defend Big Top, it is after all one of his company's products. There's a better sitcom sitting in Critique right now about a circus written by a complete nobody. I suggest he pops over and has a look. At least I found that quite amusing and that was on paper as it were.

Who read the pilot script for Big Top? Helen Keller.

I'm not a comedy writer of any description, I'm just a Television & Music buff and I think Big Top is shit too. So there.

I would actually rather watch Two Pints (but not My Family, that would be a whole new definition of "low").

I'm worried now. I just watched the episode 'Skydiver' where he breaks his leg and I thought it very good, I like the characters and think it's funny. I've never liked Amanda Holden but I like her in this

Ah, ok. Thanks. I'll wait for broadcast. :)

yea, thanks for that, that's where I saw it.. Sorry Aaron, I've been doing crosswords....so only just come back on line

Big Top is one of the worst sitcoms I've seen in the last five years, but I do feel duty bound to defend it a little... basically, it's not aimed at us! Without wishing to sound big headed, it's aimed at people who think less about their TV that the sort of people who are BCG members... if you see what I'm getting at.

I wonder if I like it because it's got older characters in it.....for a change! And not just geared for youngsters, that are usually out partying any way

It's on BBC iPlayer.

How can it be on iPlayer? It hasn't been shown on TV yet. It's the episode that was scheduled to be shown last week.

When Jonathan Ross makes a joke about its awfulness before an audience of the country's top comedy people, you know Big Top is an industry-wide joke - and not in a good way.

How can it be the episode that was scheduled to be on last week? That was broadcast. The Skydiver episode is scheduled for this week, but it's already on iPlayer.

Though when I looked it was only available to watch as a HD show.

Well, I don't know what I watched it on now but it was on my PC. I watched about ten mins of it, where the one with a broken leg is in hospital and Amanda is saying she needs him a t work, it was V funny, I thought

The episode skydiver is on iPlayer on the HD section. It's on this wednesday so I don't know why it is up yet. Maybe as preview to get more people to watch it or something.
