Vexed - Series 1 Page 4

Totally missed all this.

Was it like Dempsey and Makepeace (Looks like them) or more of a Dangerous Davies?

Neither. :)

It wasn't like the Sweeney or Mork and Mindy either if that helps? :D

It was a bit like Moonlighting, but whereas they were private detectives, these characters are regular police for the Met.

But I don't think we ever even saw the office. It was in their cars/flats/the bar/out on a case.

I can't remember The Detectives very well, starring Jasper Carrot and Robert Powell, but perhaps it was like that? And I seem to remember a cop sitcom starring Jack Dee and Jeremy Hardy - maybe it was like that too?

I wouldn't have said it was anything like The Detectives.

I also found the show reasonably enjoyable. However, neither lead had much gravitas or presence; they (her moreso than him) really both felt like bit-parts. I would quite like to see more episodes made I think, but I'm not sure how much I'd expect from them.

I really miss it. :(

The Jack character said he hadn't been to the office since 1992 (!) and conducted all business in the cafe, run by his old boss.

Me too, I wish at least a DVD would be released of this. :(

Give it time! They might be waiting for a second series before releasing a DVD of the first series.

Yippee! A second series of Vexed has been commissioned! :D

Ooh, I hadn't heard that, excellent if so!

Yup, apparently they are filming over in Dublin for 4 months. Looking forward to its return. :)
