The only award I've ever won was the Comic Heritage Wally Malston Award for best young comedy writer. I was 42 at the time.

Thanks everyone, and sorry Marc that 'Doctors' was pipped to the post by Corrie. Always next year... As to the 'speech'... God I hope no one had their phones on. I was actually hosting the awards, and had been commenting on our nomination all the way through in a way that showed I was absolutely convinced we weren't going to win, so when it came to a 'victory speech' I was, genuinely, speechless.
