I aim for a ratio of good words to bad words. So I'll have about two thousand cracking words, and four thousand not so great words.

It is a balance I know, my advice keep the bad words in the stage directions as much as possible - that way the viewer won't notice them.

If it's a drama BB that's probably a tad short for a fifteen minute piece unless it is a film??? If it's TV you'd probably want to add a bit.

That's why I like writing radio scripts best, because stage directions are at a minimum and you're mainly dealing with dialogue.

I have acted it out though and it works out at about 14 mins

I nearly did as you can stipulate if you wish to act in it and then it's at the director's discretion. But I couldn't be bothered :D
