I aim for a ratio of good words to bad words. So I'll have about two thousand cracking words, and four thousand not so great words.

It is a balance I know, my advice keep the bad words in the stage directions as much as possible - that way the viewer won't notice them.

That's why I like writing radio scripts best, because stage directions are at a minimum and you're mainly dealing with dialogue.

I nearly did as you can stipulate if you wish to act in it and then it's at the director's discretion. But I couldn't be bothered
