Miranda - Series 1 Page 3

I shall try this I think.

Two 'cock'-ups and some penises before nine. Is that allowed?

Not that I care.

Shit - I thought it was 9 o'clock!

Not as good as 'My Parents Are Aliens'.
4.5 out of 10.

Ha!
Amusing and fun, 7/10.
If we're doing that.

Wow, a comedy with jokes and things to laugh at, I thought they'd gone the way of the Dodo.

Made me chuckle at least half-a-dozen times, could well grow into a cracking show, 8/10

I enjoyed it.

Some real laugh out moments like when she walked in, in the "drag" outfit.

I wasn't sure I'd like this but it was fab, a very funny start. Hope the rest is as good at this.

:D

I really, really enjoyed this. Some great one liners and prat falls and whilst I normally hate little knowing asides to camera, she really pulled them off well.

The gag ratio was quite high, in fact, I would say too high - they could have afforded to lay off a few to develop the story a bit more. The saving grace of the show is Miranda herself, a great performance full of energy and very, very funny.

'Don't get emotional dear, we're not Spanish.' still has me laughing as well as the realisation that eating a chocolate penis on a public street is a bad idea.

The only negative was the overused gag of 'I'm not interested in marriage or babies' and there she is in a wedding dress - almost a carbon copy of when Rachel did the exact same thing in Friends.

All in all, this reminded me of a female Bottom. (Tee hee)

Yep, didn't dissapoint. True though, a high gag count.

What did people think of the "You have been watching..." bit at the end? I kinda liked it.

Yeah I liked that bit!

I really liked it; silly, bright, old fashioned, funny. Yes, you could see things coming a mile off, but it didn't hurt it at all; really a very good and fun first episode.

Pretty good stuff. Adapted from one of the radio episodes; perhaps would have been a little tighter if it were totally made-for-TV from start to finish, but still funny throughout, and a great feeling/tone to it even when not provoking LOLs. I'll echo the 8/10.

I liked this. She's a funny lady.

Lovely nod to the greatest shop-set sitcom of them all, Are You Being Served?. Liked it a lot. :)
