'Nat's world' zombies can run as fast as the person they were once living. Only difference is zombies don't have the same pain receptors, therefore could run for longer without lactic acid hirting their muscles. But as they decompose, the muscles become less useful.

In zooo world, zombies are f**king slow and mega stupid.
I think a real zombie would be pretty normal at running until they start getting proper undead like. So when they are first "turned" dependent on how much was munched off them by the other zombies, they should be able to run as fast as the person they once were.
