Charlie Covell - stand up

I mentioned a while back enjoying the Funny Women Stand up Finals, and in particular Charlie Covell.

Luckily I said nice things as Charlie saw my post and popped on to say thanks and to send the link to the set which is now online if anyone's interested.

There's no pleasing everyone on here but hopefully some of you will enjoy it!

:)

Thanks for that Jane, really enjoyed it. She reminded me a lot of Stewart Lee - no, not the fat and going bald bit - more in terms of her style and material.

Plus she didn't sing or hate on men so bonus points - but she did read out poems so points retracted. :P

I think we'll be seeing a lot more of her in future. Like it, genuinely funny.

She's very good.

Wave Charlie if you're browsing.

Well that's put me off watching now. :(

Edit: I did watch it and it was very good. Laugh in a few places including the poetry (which I normally can't stand comedians doing).

I thought I was being Wavey Davey. :)

Cool, thanks for watching.

Especially Nil for sitting through a Stewart Lee-esque poetry reading act.

We'll get RC watching a cat loving Victoria Wood tribute act next.

Maybe not.

:)

:D

I didn't think it was like SL to be fair, this was funny. ;)

Strong material and a confident performance. I can see Charlie going far. The audience seem to be really enjoying it too.

Thanks for posting Jane.

Just watched the Angelo's episode when Maria is a fashion muse to the cool students, and was pleasantly surprised to see Charlie Covell playing the trendy art student.

She's really talented.
