I think I can see what Roodeye is getting at. Despite being of an age where I can remember all of the stuff he was talking about a fair bit of this did feel somewhat old-fashioned to me.
That's not to say it isn't good - cos it is, but I could see this being an issue for commissioners.
I really liked the structure and complications which were nicely done.
The dialogue was well judged by and large, although maybe a bit predictable in parts.
I also found Cromwell pretty sympathetic in a Blackadder sort of way (incidentally, this obvious if not entirely fair comparison of the scheming servant might also cause problems).
So, overall a thumbs up but I can see why it might not get made.
To add to Danny's comments - one planned episode of my time travelling PR sitcom (trailled on here ages ago and debuting at the Sitcom trials this year) was planned to be around the reinvention of an effette Henry. Hmmm.
