If he says it to a man - or a car or a computer or a lawnmower or almost anything in the world but a woman - it's abolutely fine and very funny to boot.
Essentially, it's a comedy sketch in the finest tradition. I just thought there might a few sharp intakes of breath at the 'bitch' remark.
