Help/advice needed

I'm working on a sketch that will contain a far east character. Should I write the dialogue in plain English or in their natural English accent? I've done a search on here and have not been able to find anything touching this subject.

I'll give you an example. Only because it'll help me get my head around on what I'm trying to say here.

'You are a very nice group of people' or 'You vely nice grou o peeporl'

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

When doing an accent, I think most actors prefer the words in plain English - with a note explaining what sort of accent is required.

However, in the case of your Far Eastern character and the example dialogue you supply above, don't write "You are a very nice group of people' - cos you don't want him to say the word 'a', do you?

You should write: "You very nice group of people"
