Mitchell is ace. He's basically made it cool to be the nerd you didn't want to be cos it wasn't cool.
Agree that he is best when firing on all cylinders when angry, especially in a 'comedian-off' with Lee Mack.

Mitchell's like a less affable Steven Fry in my opinion.

I disagree with this statement.
Mitchell, at least on some of his TV appearances I've seem, has tended to use harsh swearing as a substitute for wit. I'm not saying that's he's not witty -- he is -- bit sometimes he swears badly for comic effect.
